totally a great one. We took a 8 hour tour of Puerto Vallarta, and the surrounding area. Just some pics for now, and narrative later. It’s late, it’s still hot, and I’ve got to be up early for a 2 mile trip through the jungle canopy on zip lines.

We arrived in Puerto Vallarta after a long day of travel. Standing in lines is not my thing. American Airlines did *not* have their act together.
So anyway we’re here, and here are some pics…
The customs line into Mexico. We were, uh, in the FRONT!
It apparently had been raining. A lot. Yes, that’s a street.
The view from our balcony. Probably better in the sunshine.
The Garden Courtyard
Today we’re going on a tour of the city. For 8 hours. Say bye-bye to the money!

Mexico. That sounds nice. Let’s go! OK! We’re going! Right now!
FBCJ had it’s 20th annual Celebrate America performance Sunday night. It was scheduled to be on the old Clayton County courthouse lawn, complete with bluegrass, choir, F18 fly over, and fireworks. God said “Get back in the house.”. We needed rain. Really we did. We just didn’t want it when God decided to bring it. And thunder. And lightning. And wind. But the show must go on! Plan “B” worked well. We moved everyone inside the cafe’ until the storm blew out, and then moved the entire show into the sanctuary where it has been held for 20 years now. And coincidentally, where it has never rained.

Nobody has died yet.
At least, not physically. Several have “died to self”, and joined to Christ. I hope to do a group pic of everyone that has accepted Him this week. We’ll see.
So a few from today… (Commentary to come later. I’m late for dinner!)
Hannah Goolsby in her Daytona Beach debut, backed up by Sam Camp on guitar.
Kevin of Exit 417, our worship band.
All the kids from the 5 churches, gather to go hand out water bottles with John 3:16 on them. I can’t wait to hear about their encounters.

My girl again. No, she’s not drinking the John 3:16 water.
Our fearless leaders. Pray for us.
No, really. PRAY FOR US!
We spent the afternoon at the Daytona Beach Municipal Golf Club. Some scenes…
Various wildlife, including a Florida Crane, a Redtail Hawk, a turtle, and the rare Florida Posing Bird. Whatever, I don’t what kind it is, but it was posing.

My power stroke. Impressive, huh?
Giving my good buddy John some motivation.
Naw, it’s great! We had some great worship this morning,
with one of the leaders from another church here with us realizing that she had never asked Christ into her life. She was doing the work, but not under His power and guidance. She is now a child of God, and we rejoice with her.
The room is small (and very warm) for the large number of kids, but they are sitting on the floor, and not complaining about it at all.
Free time this afternoon at a well stocked pool.
This after noon we went for supper at, well, you Jonesboro FBC people will know where this is from.
My kid. I love her a lot.
And of course, the infamous Walmart trips.
