Thursday at Daytona.

Nobody has died yet. At least, not physically. Several have “died to self”, and joined to Christ. I hope to do a group pic of everyone that has accepted Him this week. We’ll see. So a few from today… (Commentary to come later. I’m late for dinner!) Hannah Goolsby in her Daytona Beach debut, backed [...]

Wednesday! Golf Day!

We spent the afternoon at the Daytona Beach Municipal Golf Club. Some scenes… Various wildlife, including a Florida Crane, a Redtail Hawk, a turtle, and the rare Florida Posing Bird. Whatever, I don’t what kind it is, but it was posing. My power stroke. Impressive, huh? Giving my good buddy John some motivation.

tuesday. is it really only tuesday?

Naw, it’s great! We had some great worship this morning, with one of the leaders from another church here with us realizing that she had never asked Christ into her life. She was doing the work, but not under His power and guidance. She is now a child of God, and we rejoice with her.The [...]

Daytona Beach! Hot!

First day in Daytona at DM07 (Defining Moments 2007). Our them this year is “Not Ashamed” from Romans 1:16 – “I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for salvation of everyone who believes.” The view is from my room. Not bad for a sunrise pic one day, but [...]

Chloe at One.

Lauren brought Chloe to have some images made for her very first birthday. It started a bit rough, with Chloe being not quite sure about me, but we had a great time. Here are two of my faves. The show can be seen here.

Sunday in Tennessee

FBC Mountain City. I’m just sayin’… A choir mascot. Avery gettin’ down! Um. OK. You don’t see this everyday. Singing for our supper… …at Shirley’s. That’s some good eatin’. Allyson, Julie, & Vickie, all smiles after a great meal. Julie’s hubby John, after a great meal. Scared the crap out of him when the flash [...]

Covered Bridge Festival, Elizabethton Tennessee

Here’s a mix of 3 days images from the Covered Bridge Festival. The bridge you’ll see is 125 years old, built for $3000, with only one span. We spent 3 days helping the vendors set up booths, relieve them for breaks, brought them food and drinks, picked up trash, painted faces at Kids Island, ran [...]

Mountain City Tennessee Veterans Home

I spent last week in Elizabethton Tennessee with 40 teenagers from the Frontline Choir, from FBCJ. Here are a few images of the students ministering to the residents. This was a tough day for me. My Granddaddy served in WWII in the Philipines with the Navy. He was a Patriot in every sense of the [...]
